Materia Libra Return Policy

At Materia Libra, we take pride in crafting unique, handmade wooden jewelry using natural materials. Each piece is thoughtfully made and one of a kind – just like you. Because of this, there may be slight variations in color, grain pattern, or texture compared to the photos on our website.

We want you to love your purchase, so here’s everything you need to know about our return policy:

Return Window

You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible, your item must be:

•  Unworn and Unused and in its original condition.
•  In its original packaging.
•  Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

What Can Be Returned

We accept returns for:

• Standard, ready-to-ship jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.).
• Items that arrived damaged or defective (please contact us immediately with photos).

What Cannot Be Returned

Due to the handmade nature of our work and the uniqueness of natural materials, we do not accept returns for:

• Items with minor natural variations in stone and wood color, grain, or texture that differ slightly from the photos – this is a feature, not a flaw.
• Custom or personalized items.
• Earrings (for hygiene reasons).
• Sales items.
• Gift cards.

Please read our product descriptions carefully and feel free to contact us before ordering if you have specific preferences or questions about appearance.

How to Request a Return

• 1. Email us at contact@materialibra.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
• 2. If approved, we’ll provide you with return instructions and a shipping address.
• 3. Ship the item back within 7 days of approval using a tracked service.
• 4. Returns must be requested in advance – items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility, unless the item is defective or an error was made on our part.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you of the refund status. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

The quickest way to get the item you want is to return your current item for a refund and place a new order once the return is approved.
